Accountability for Health Plans Under the 2024 Medicare Advantage Final Rule Webinar

This session will analyze the 2024 Medicare Advantage and Part D Final Rule. Presenters will outline the key changes that will affect patients and health care providers, including utilization management requirements, marketing requirements, the star ratings program, and advancing health equity. In particular, attendees can expect to focus on changes to the prior authorization process, highlighting the new continuity of care requirements and changes made to reduce disruptions for beneficiaries. Speakers will present attendees with several examples of how the final rule aims to increase accountability for Medicare Advantage plans and give patients and health care providers more tools and leverage for ensuring consistent access to care. Participants will be able to analyze the final rule and apply concepts in order to provide improved access to coverage and care.
