Advocacy

A primary function of the Maine Hospital Association is legislative advocacy.  It is crucial that state and federal policymakers understand the impact that proposed legislation might have on all of Maine’s hospitals.  It is MHA’s role to provide policymakers with this information and to advocate for hospital interests.  MHA also follows and comments on relevant rulemaking before both state and federal agencies.
